Management of Personal Data

In France, personal data is notably protected by law No. 78-87 dated 6 January 1978, law No. 2004-801 dated 6 August 2004, article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive dated 24 October 1995.

Upon use of the website the following may be collected: URL of the links followed by users to access the website, user access suppliers and user Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

In any event, 6cure only collects personal information on users for the requirements of some of the services offered by the website Users provide this information knowingly, especially when they enter this information themselves. Users of the website are therefore informed of whether or not they have to provide this information.

As per the provisions in articles 38 et seq. of law 78-17 dated 6 January 1978 on IT, files and liberties, all users have the right to access, rectify and oppose personal data about them, via a written, signed request, accompanied by a signed copy of their ID, specifying the address to which the response should be sent.

Any personal information on users of the website shall not be published without the knowledge of the user, shared, transferred, conveyed or sold to a third party via any media. The website has not been declared to the CNIL data protection authority as it does not gather personal information.

Databases are protected by the provisions of the law dated 1 July 1998 implementing Directive 96/9 dated 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases.

The website contains a number of hyperlinks to other websites, included with the authorisation of 6cure. However, 6cure cannot check the content of the sites that are consequently visited, and, as a result, shall not be held at all liable for this.

Browsing the website may lead to cookies being installed on the user's computer. A cookie is a small file, which is not used to identify the user, but record information on a computer's browsing of the site. The data obtained from this is used to aid future browsing on the site, and is also used for various visit frequency measurements.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Any disputes with users of the website are subject to French law. The competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
